15 Bible verses for times of crisis- Bible Society of Kenya

Are you feeling distraught and wondering when COVID 19 will end? Had you made grand plans and now feel at a loss as to whether you will ever get through this? Do you remember a time in your life when God came through for you in a very difficult situation? Indeed, God reminds us that He is our ever-present help in times of need and He is still at work even now.

As much as we are facing a very uncertain time in our lives, we can still look to our Father in Heaven who oversees the Universe. Can you imagine how life would have been if we did not have anywhere to find refuge? It would be so miserable, right?

Solomon the wisest man who ever lived recognized that there is a time for everything. Be encouraged that this season will also pass and that there is hope in the days to come because God knows our future. Do not give up, you shall indeed overcome.

May you find encouragement in these verses from the Bible as you navigate this season.

When I am afraid, I put my trust in thee. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust without a fear. What can flesh do to me? Psalm 56:3-4 (RSV)

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 (ESV)

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 (ESV)
