6 Verses on God’s Faithfulness

Have you ever stood on the shore, watching the ocean churn, and felt a flicker of doubt ignite in your chest? The waves, relentless and powerful, whisper fears of uncertainty, while the vastness of the horizon echoes unanswerable questions. It’s a feeling we all know whether confronting personal storms or navigating the turbulent currents of the world.

In those moments, when the ground beneath our feet feels like shifting sand, it’s easy to let doubt and fear take hold. But nestled within the chaos, lies an anchor of unwavering strength: God’s faithfulness. God has always remained faithful despite the changing seasons of life. The Bible contains several verses that remind us of God’s character, He is a faithful God who can always be trusted. May you be encouraged as you ponder on them.

Your faithfulness endures to all generations; you have established the earth, and it stands fast. Psalm 119:90 (ESV)

Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you; I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful, and sure. Isaiah 25:1(ESV)

But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.2 Thessalonians 3:3 (ESV)

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23 (ESV)

If we are faithless, he remains faithful. 2 Timothy 2:13(ESV)
