Queen Esther’s Undivided People

Esther was elected to be queen at a time when Jews were to be killed. She was afraid of facing the king and pleading for her people but the people of Israel together with her fasted for three days and nights and she was able to face the king without repercussions. They demonstrated the perfect form of unity of purpose. As a result, queen Esther and her people were spared.
