The God of All Grace

How would you define God’s grace? It is the daily sustaining power that God imparts to every believer. It is God’s way of showing us favour.

We often question our abilities on new challenges e.g.being a parent for the first time, dealing with sickness or a traumatizing experience, a pandemic, loss of property, and such other difficult issues. Through these challenges, we realize that God’s divine power enables us to navigate through these and other uncertainties in this broken and imperfect world we live in.

How does one experience Grace?

To experience God’s grace, we have to trust in God’s word, totally rely on Him, and desist from doubting God’s faithfulness in helping us through difficult seasons of life.

Have you faced a situation where you came out strong and knew that it was only by God’s grace? Our testimonies attest to the fact that God is indeed gracious and powerful.

May these verses remind you that God’s grace is sufficient;

And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.1 Peter 5:10(ESV)

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16(RSV)

The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. Psalm 103:8(ESV)

Prayer

Father thank you because your grace is sufficient always. Thank you for being a present help to us in our time of need and for being faithful to us. Help us to rely on you fully and not to trust in our knowledge. We are confident that you will carry us through all seasons of life because you are all-powerful. Amen
